January 2019

The students started off the year even more energetic than last year! Even though students enjoyed a long winter break from Eagle, when they came back to school they didn’t even cry. Instead they greeted the teachers and their friends with smiles. It was a great start to the new year!

The students are practicing their songs and dances even more for the upcoming school show. It is inspiring seeing each student try their best to practice their songs and dances each and every day. For readings, the students are practicing their pronunciation with their teachers. Those who will be giving presentations are preparing their slide shows and working hard to memorize their speeches. The morning students had two rehearsals this month where they practiced their dances on the stage.

The first EIKEN test of the year was held on January 27th. Some of our kindergarten students took EIKEN 4 and 5; some of our 1st graders took EIKEN 3, 4, and 5; and some of our 5th grade students took EIKEN 2! If your children work hard every day, they can achieve their English goals! Definitely try to take EIKEN the next time it is held!
All the teachers this year will continue to work hard to help our students. We look forward to working alongside the parents to improve our student’s abilities.
Thank you all for your cooperation!

Notice

Now it is Flu season. If your child has a fever in the morning, DO NOT bring them to school. Bringing your sick child to school will spread the sickness to other students. Thank you for understanding.
Also, we ask that you make sure to practice preventative measures such as washing your and your children’s hands frequently. In Eagle, we always have the students wash their hands frequently and teach them when to do so. Please help us with this by teaching your children about the importance of hand-washing at home.
It is a new year, so each student needs to bring hand towels and cleaning towels. Please give us these by February. Each year you must give the school 2 hand towels, and 3 cleaning towels. Each month, you must bring 1 tissue box. Parents of students who wear diapers must bring one package of wet wipes each month. Thank you for your cooperation.
